Battle for Wesnoth

Lead heroes, recruit armies and plan your moves across the original Wesnoth campaigns. Terrain, time of day and unit abilities shape each battle; the original engine runs on your device.

Choose Campaigns, then The South Guard for its guided introduction. Click or tap a unit, then its destination hex. Use Fit to see the map and Zoom in for smaller controls. Keys supplies Enter, Escape, Save, Load and End turn on phones.

Ready when you are.

Saves

Use the original Save Game dialog to write a checkpoint. Original saves and settings stay in this browser when storage is available. Backups exports and imports a ZIP of written files. Native Quit and Stop flush those files; unfinished turns are not saved automatically. Browser Pause freezes native time and audio. Already loaded areas can be played offline; new artwork or music needs a connection. Clearing site data removes local saves, so keep a backup.
