OpenArena

Jump into an arena deathmatch against local computer opponents. Original OpenArena maps, weapons and characters, with no Quake game files required.

Play starts a beginner match on Aggressor with two computer opponents. Click the arena to capture your mouse, move with WASD and click to fire. Escape opens the game menu and releases the mouse.

Saves

Written controls and settings stay locally in this browser. Matches are session-only: Stop unloads the arena and Play starts the beginner match again. Clearing browser data removes saved settings.

OpenArena — help & credits

WASD moves, mouse aims, left click fires and Space jumps. Number keys or the wheel choose weapons. Arrow keys also move or turn; Ctrl fires. Escape opens the game menu. Desktop hardware acceleration is recommended; software WebGL can fail. Network play and optional screen-space effects are disabled.

The game is made by its original authors. Leaf Arcade provides this browser player. Tab leaves the local game canvas; stopping unloads its audio and runtime.
