Command a squad through six original Cannon Fodder magazine demos in the open-source Open Fodder engine. Import the upstream demo pack locally.

Download the upstream demo data ZIP using the link below. Press Play, choose the ZIP, select a magazine campaign and Start campaign. Keep the download zipped. Engine source ZIPs do not contain the game data.

Saves

The verified imported demo pack can stay in this browser when storage is available. Choose a campaign again after Play. Mission progress is not saved; Stop, Restart and reloading start a new mission. Clearing site data removes the local pack. Imported assets stay on this device and are never uploaded.

Open Fodder — help & credits

Click or tap to move the squad. Right click fires; on phones switch Tap to move to Tap to fire, then hold a target. Keyboard: arrows position the cursor, Enter moves and F fires. Space switches weapon. 1, 2 and 3 select squads. Escape aborts the mission. Tab leaves the canvas for page controls. Landscape fullscreen gives more room. Use page Pause to stop play and audio; Stop then Play returns to campaign selection. Includes original Amiga audio. This edition supports the six supplied Amiga demos; retail and PC files are not supported.
