Shape a living world where people form tribes, invent languages, build settlements and develop civilizations. The original simulation runs locally on your device.

Start a private world in the original welcome screen. Use the bottom toolbar to add life, reshape terrain and change the world. Click a person or settlement to inspect it. Start with a small world on phones.

Worlds save in this browser. Use the original Settings export to download a backup. Stop requests a completed local checkpoint; wait for it before leaving. Clearing site data removes browser worlds. Simulation does not use a hosted AI service.

The Human Box — help & credits

Use the original mouse/touch world controls and toolbar. Press ? for keyboard shortcuts and / to find a tool. Original controls change time and pause the simulation. Page Pause stops both rendering and the simulation worker. Landscape fullscreen is recommended on phones.
