Use a forty-card deck: ace is 1, jack 8, queen 9 and king 10. Capture a matching single card; only if none matches may you take a group adding up to your card. You must capture when possible.

Clearing the table earns one scopa point, except on the final play of a hand. The last capturer takes remaining table cards. Hands refill until the stock runs out.

Each hand awards one point for most cards, most diamonds, the seven of diamonds and best primiera. Tied comparisons award neither player. Primiera takes the best card of each suit: 7=21, 6=18, ace=16, 5=15, 4=14, 3=13, 2=12, faces=10; all four suits are required.

Your computer opponent uses only its hand and the table. Dealers alternate between hands. At eleven or more, the higher total wins; tied totals play another hand. Undo reverses your play and the computer response.
