How to play Atomic Chess

Standard chess setup and moves, with explosive captures: the capturing piece, captured piece and adjacent non-pawns disappear. Adjacent pawns survive. En passant explodes at the capturing pawn’s destination. A move that explodes your own king is illegal. Kings cannot capture, but may stand next to one another. Explode the opposing king or deliver checkmate to win. Stalemate, insufficient material, threefold repetition or fifty moves without a pawn move or capture draws. Castling and all four promotions are supported.
