How to play Checkers
English draughts on an 8 × 8 board. Pieces move and capture forward; kings move and capture in both directions. Captures and follow-up jumps are compulsory. Crowning ends the turn. No legal moves loses; threefold repetition or 40 quiet turns each is a draw.
