Notes record candidates; placing a digit removes it from the notes of its row, column, box and cage. Hint reveals the selected square, or the first empty or wrong one.

Daily grids are the same for everyone at each difficulty on a UTC day.

How to play

Goal. Fill the grid with 1–9 so every row, column and 3 × 3 box holds each digit once, and each dashed cage adds up to its total.

Totals with only one answer. Small and large totals pin a cage down. Start from cages like these, then use the fact that each row, column and box adds up to 45.
