How to play Cheat

Deal all 52 cards clockwise. Player 1 claims aces, then claims cycle through 2 to king and back to ace. On your turn place one to four cards face down, claiming the required rank; bluffing is allowed. Before the next play, any other player may challenge, or the next player may accept. A challenge reveals only the latest cards: if any is the wrong rank the claimant takes the whole pile; otherwise the challenger takes it. Accepted cards stay hidden. The next clockwise player then takes their turn with the next required rank. An empty hand wins only after its final claim is accepted or survives a challenge. This table uses an explicit challenge window without a reaction timer.
