How to play Sixty-Six

Six cards each from a 24-card deck. Rank order: nine, jack, queen, king, ten, ace; values 0, 2, 3, 4, 10, 11. While stock is open, play freely; trick winner draws first. Exchange trump nine after winning a trick. Before leading, you may close the stock; then follow suit, overtake if possible, otherwise trump. A queen–king marriage declared while leading with open stock earns 20, or 40 in trump, after a subsequent won trick. Claim 66 before leading, or immediately with a marriage. False claims or failed closure award the opponent 2/3 match points. Otherwise round wins earn 1–3 based on opponent points. An unclosed last trick adds ten. First to seven match points wins.
