How to play

Goal. Fill the grid so every row and column holds each digit once and every sign between neighbouring squares is true.

Signs

  • A 4 × 4 grid uses 1–4, a 5 × 5 grid 1–5 and a 7 × 7 grid 1–7, each once per row and column.
  • Each sign points to the smaller digit. ∧ and ∨ between rows read from top to bottom: ∧ means the upper square is smaller.
  • A few digits may be given. A chain of signs limits a square: below three smaller squares, it is at least 4.
1<3<4>2
A solved row. The row 1 < 3 < 4 > 2 holds every sign, and each digit appears once.

Help

  • Every grid has exactly one solution. Repeated digits and broken signs are marked.
  • Notes record candidates. Hint reveals the selected square, or the first empty or wrong one.
  • Choose 4 × 4, 5 × 5 or 7 × 7, or today's grid.

Controls

  • Touch or keyboard.
