How to play

Goal. Place stars so every row, column and outlined region holds the same number of stars, with no two stars touching.

Placing stars

The 6 × 6 and 8 × 8 grids need one star in every row, column and region; the 10 × 10 grids need two.
Stars never touch, not even at a corner. Touching stars and overfull lines or regions are marked.
Tap a square to cycle star, dot and empty. A dot rules a square out.

One star per line. In this 4 × 4 grid each row and column holds one star, and no two stars touch, even diagonally. Around every star, all eight neighbours can be dotted at once.
